Autumn Meeting at Liberton GC
45 of our members took part in our final Strokeplay meeting for the season at Liberton Golf Club.
Despite the chill in the air, it was a great day for golf, with the course being in very good condition and the greens true and consistent.
Many thanks to all the team at Liberton GC. As always, we were warmly welcomed and well looked after throughout the day.
There were some fantastic scores recorded both gross and nett, most notably our Champ Ann Sewell with a gross 72 (nett 67), and Anne Beedie winning Divison 2 also with a nett 67 (bih). There were also two more nett 67s in Division 2 from Elsa Todd and Denise Turnbull.
We also had six players scoring a 2.
Congratulations to all players in the winners' enclosure and to those with a good handicap change overnight.
